Mosque
This is just a really quick post. I have had such a strong feeling for a while now to go to a Mosque, but have never had a woman to go with to hold my hand (thearetically). Hamdulillah i have found someone now and i am going on Monday evening for my first visit. I have been studing Islam for a few months now, bit by bit. But if i am honest, i always feel i have something to do and rarely feel relaxed enough to get my mind set spiritually. What i want to do is visit the Mosque at least 1 evening a week and just sit and read with peace around me Inshallah. It is something i have been wanting to do for a while and i am so happy i am going. It is a step closer and i will feel closer to God this way Inshallah.

ooh, you going with the sis off the forum u mentioned?? masha'allah.. i hope it gives you the expericence your looking for, and if it doesnt, remember.. they arent all the same and dont all hold the same opinion (as terrible as that is) insha'allah you have fun, take pics.. and I cant wait to hear all about it from u insha'allah. I hope you love it Sonya. Which mosque are you going to visit? I remember when I was a fairly new convert to islam going to the Regent's park mosque and totally loving the experience. I found it so peaceful and calming inside the moqsue and felt totally at ease. :) Nicola
